One Issue Down, Black Hobo Issue 1

I've finished writing Black Hobo issue 1. Next, I give Shahied, our artist, the typed script. One page at time. We go over the page. Nothing to in dept. The page, I've attached a screenshot, basically has a written description of a single panel of the comic book. Then the dialog for each character in the panel. And also any sound effects we want draw out. Next Shahied will sketch the page and we will go over it. Before he finalizes the page. Now this is where the has changed for us. Shahied would normally hand me a drawn-out page on paper. Canson Comic Book Art Boards Pad with Preprinted, Non-Reproducible, Blue Lines, 150 Pound, 11 x 17 Inch, 24 Sheets. To Be exact in case anyone is wondering.

Now Shahied is using digital drawing tablet. So, he will be uploading me a digital copy. I will then use https://www.clipstudio.net/en to add the dialog and some backgrounds. Its extremely exciting. And good timing as my large format scanner just went out on me. It's upsetting. We've had this scanner since we first stated the Baid Is Born comic book. But all things must end, even scanners. While Shahied draws the page, I will do a google ad and twitter promotion. And I'm working on putting together our first poetry slide show. It will be poetry written by family members put to a slide show of artwork and photos.

So, I'm going to get back to work, thank everyone again for taking the time to read this and for supporting the company. below is a picture of The Black Hobo logo. The font was created by Kevin Christopher @ kcfonts@gmail.com the font is perfect because of the cityscape at the bottom of the letters. I made the glow effect with GIMP 2.10, it’s a free image editor. A great tool to make logos or edit the size of an image. And the gold glow makes it a perfect anthesis from the hero. She is homeless but the logo appears glamorous. Like the Wiz, when the emerald city terms to gold. Not everyone in the company liked it. But i do, let me know what you think.
