We are the Abdur-Rahim brothers, Muhammad and Shahied, our childhood was spent obsessing over the panels of comic books. As adults, we want to trade our roles as readers for creators.

We want to make a living doing what we love to do. Not what we have to do. We want to create unique comic book intellectual properties. And sell the rights to the entertainment industry.

No. M.I.A. Comics, or Minorities In Action, is the name of our company because Shahied and I are both African American and comic book fans. These are two groups that make up less than half of the population each. And my initials are M.I.A. Muhammad Ibin Abdur-Rahim.

Superhero comics. We are starting with three books. Each tells the origin of three separate heroes. Baid is Born is a hero with superpowers. The Black Hobo is a vigilante with no powers just skill and determination. And The Infidel, a hero with a power suit.

Yes. I write the plot and dialog. Shahied draws the line art. I color the art. We use A.I. to generate scenery. Shahied and I both work full-time jobs and support families. Using A.I. to generate backgrounds saves us a tremendous amount of time. We are not selling issues of our comic books to the public.

Yes. Once we complete an issue we will post it on this website. There will be no charge. We need constructive criticism. To make the product better and more attractive to potential investors.

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
